This Christmas post office is open on 10 December 2011 from 2 to 6 pm.
In addition, you should definitely pay a visit to the Wish Linden. During Christmastime, the village linden tree becomes a truly magical place. Wishes to the Christ Child, big and small, can be deposited in the so-called "Wish Crystal" there - and if you wish, even virtually at www.wunschlinde.at.
Romance in Kleinarl: Sleigh rides during Advent in SalzburgerLand
Romantics definitely find what they have been looking for in Kleinarl. The nostalgic ride on a horse-drawn sleigh takes you out to picturesque Jägersee lake, which appears almost enchanted in the darkness. After stopping in at a traditional country inn, you will glide at a brisk trot through the snowy winter world back to Kleinarl. Kleinarl, too, is a captivating place to be, including an atmospheric Christmas market (18 December 2011 from 4 pm on) - just like in Wagrain, the stands are reserved for local craftsmen, artists, farmers and initiatives. Which is also good for you - since your purchases at the Christmas market will make for very special souvenirs and gifts for your loved-ones back home.
