220 kilometres of cross-country ski trails await you during your winter vacation in the Salzburg Sports World which surrounds Wagrain. In Wagrain itself, you will be able to set out into all of that glorious, wintery Nordic fun along the two cross-country trails of our own.
The Tauern Trail is always the highlight of any cross-country vacation in Austria. From Wagrain, this easy to intermediate cross-country trail extends out for some 50 kilometres, wending its way through the entire Salzburg Sports World. The Tauern Trail is also directly connected to many other SalzburgerLand ski trails. During your excursions through the snowy winter landscapes of the Austrian Alps, you will be gliding along through a mountain world that is unbelievably rich and diverse.

Wagrain’s second trail makes its way via Kleinarl to the Jägersee nature sanctuary. This hiking trail comes to wonderful culmination as it loops the shores of this picturesque lake. The ski trail to the Jägersee is around 10 kilometres long and is rated intermediate. One tip: This trail is also perfect for winter hikes or even a Nordic-Walking tour.
